We want to keep everyone updated on how our clients are doing through this crisis, so we are going to share stories with you daily on one family. Please join us in covering our first family in prayer, and in helping meet their needs if possible.
Mom M is on the front line- in the nursing field, working at a hospital. She needs our prayer coverage: strength, health, peace, energy and wisdom. She and her son (age 5) live with her mom who is compromised due to age and a health condition. She has not been well this week and keeps M’s son, since he is out of school. M’s father is also high risk. This mom is carrying A LOT right now.
M came by this week for curbside pantry pick-up. She strongly exhorted us to comply with the social distancing and to follow the guidelines and to encourage others to do the same. She also asked that if anyone has medical supplies that they can be donate to hospitals, please donate, as supplies are dwindling (masks, gloves, etc.. The healthcare workers NEED these things most.
Continue to lift this family up in your daily prayers. Being in an intern program, finishing up your last semester to receive your Associates, trying to help her own mom, and now her son home from school. This mama is very strong, but really needs encouragement right now.
