OVERVIEW of Position

  • Assists Office & Operations Lead by overseeing business relationships for maintaining all IT programs & equipment.
  • Hands-on for any issues with office IT infrastructure or systems; repairs, maintenance, updates, etc.
  • Understands & follows all processes for escalation of any identified concerns.
  • Understands & interacts with contractors or volunteers who may supply or use current equipment or systems.
  • Documents all actions in agreed tracking format.

Position Responsibilities

  • Position requires a general understanding of the current office IT infrastructure, including identifying new technologies &/or contractors, supporting all users, identifying issues, managing system upgrades, etc.
  • General knowledge of the technology landscape, knowledgeable about current or future systems that may support our programs.
  • Other duties as agreed & assigned by Team Leader.

Position Skills

  • Comfortable working with business partners to maintain current office technology & systems.
  • Familiar with technology & how to maintain, repair, & update existing equipment & systems.
  • Comfortable assessing situations that may need to be escalated.
  • Efficiency in managing assigned tasks.
  • Willingness to cover other tasks in support of Operations Lead.

Relationships Interactions

  • Works directly with current contractors & users to maintain the office IT systems, much of the time working independently.

Time Commitment

  • 2 – 3 hours per week; timing is directly determined by needed work or identified projects.
