We hope everyone is having a wonderful week. We wanted to keep you updated on how our clients are doing.

Mom B is hanging in there for now. She cannot work, due to daycare closures. She has an infant 7 months old. Her workplace said she will not lose her job and will be allowed to be off from work until the daycare’s open again, but without pay. She worked full-time, and is losing all of her income. She is trying to get unemployment at this time. We’ve heard anyone filing for unemployment will not see any funds for at least a month.

She had curbside pantry pick up last week. Her baby girl is in size 3 diapers and growing rapidly. She uses Gerber Good Start, Stage 1 formula (The purple label, Comforting Probiotics/Digestive Health). This is not formula we normally have on our shelf.

Our Board chair took a moment to write notes to our moms. Below is a note from the mom: Hey Staci, “I wanted to thank you all again for everything you all do for us. It is so appreciated and I’m forever grateful to a God for putting you all in my life. Please tell Mary a special thank you as well for the books for A. I’m so excited about the baby’s first bible and have already started reading it to you. You all are a blessing and we love you.”

Again, keep our families in your thoughts and prayers. If you can think of anything you can do to assist, feel free to call our office, 245-9899, or email us at info@sparc-hope.org.
