It can be tough to find fun new experiences for the kids that won’t break the bank but luckily, we have a few suggestions for some free family fun in or around Louisville this July. Here are some Fun, Free, and Kid Friendly events!

Farm Animal Feeding

Saturday morning farm animal feeding is where visitors get to feed the goats, sheep and donkeys in the meadow with grain bowls and learn how they are cared for. Afterwards,  you are invited to explore the homestead and hike the preserve.

Blackacre is a part of the Cultural Pass,  an innovative initiative to promote art and culture and improve summer learning in our community.  Check out the various activities that cultural pass holders (ages 0-21) can enjoy at Blackacre from (June through September).  For more information go to LFPL.org

The farm animal feeding is free of charge but donations are appreciated.
